Heidi Vanzet is an Australian artist, digitiser, and designer from Melbourne, Victoria.
Heidi has a Certificate III in Arts Administration and a Diploma of Visual Arts from Swinburne TAFE. She is currently completing a double Bachelor of Fine Arts and Visual Culture through Curtin University
Heidi's own practice is based primarily in drawing with extensions into painting, digital & new media, and installation. Her work explores notions of play, mark making, abstraction, formal artistic concerns such as composition, balance, line and form, as well as the meditative qualities of drawing.
Since early 2014 Heidi has worked as an artist's assistant to Australian artist, Irene Barberis and as Website Designer, Social Media Manager and Gallery Assistant for Langford 120 in North Melbourne. In addition to this, she has also worked as a research assistant, designer and media manager with Metasenta and The Global Centre for Drawing during this time.
She is currently the Digital technician and artist's assistant on the international art project, The Tapestry of Light, which opened in Brussels, Belgium in April 2017. See link for details.
